“Award of Excellence” presented to Jennifer Margison for Residential Landscape Design

Jennifer Margison and Attanasio Landscape Architecture are honored to have received the “2017 Award of Excellence in Residential Design” presented at the 2017 Southern Nevada Landscape Awards by Southern Nevada Water Authority(SNWA), The Springs Preserve, Star Nursery and The Water Conservation Coalition (WCC) in recognition of lush and colorful outdoor living and ‘water-smart’ landscape design. The award presentations were held on September 28th at Star Nursery in Las Vegas and named Jennifer Margison a winner of the ‘Residential Design by a Professional’ category. “I’m honored to have been selected by the award committee for my work on the Martin Residence. This project is further proof that water-smart landscapes can be exciting, beautiful and unique. Bonnie and Frank Martin are wonderful clients and the Bitterroot Ranch has been the perfect setting to showcase our western themed design. It was a dream project where all elements of sustainability, creativity and imagination synthesized to create a magical setting.”

In conjunction with the SNWA Awards, the Nevada Chapter of the American Society of Landscape Architects (NASLA) presented Attanasio Landscape Architecture (ALA) with an Award of Excellence for Jennifer’s extraordinary efforts in the creative design of the Martin Residence. Laura Miller, NASLA President-Elect, states that “This is a special project selected due, in part, to its connectivity to the surrounding pasture lands, utilizing viewing opportunities, recycling and repurposing existing materials, and designing to the needs of the client.”
